Have you ever stayed in the ideal campground and then on the return trip, find it unable to recall the name of the facility or the directions? You need a logbook to keep a record of the Good-the Bad-and the Ugly. If you had made a few entries in this log then you would be able to sort out the undesirable and find an easy way to get back to your favorite spot. A lot of my stays are in Rest Areas, and I find that some are quiet and places that I would like to return, so I record the highway and mile marker.
