My mother absolutely loved hummingbirds. For over 30 years, she mixed her special nectar to fill the feeders that hung from her front porch of her home. She would have to mix new batches about ever 10 days. I was with her one time when we were blessed to see a true albino hummingbird, complete with the pink eyes. Though she currently suffers from dementia today, she still remembers that moment of seeing the white hummingbird. For her love of these tiny beautiful creatures and my love towards her and all that she has done, I created this calendar so that she may enjoy having hummingbirds once again.
