Loss of a Pet: A Ferret Tale

The grieving process of a pet is just as real and painful which often goes unrecognized in today’s society. Often people downplay the loss of the pet to the loss of their loved one. There is no difference. Sometimes the loss of a special animal is trivialized by others as insignificant, as if you don't have a legitimate right to grieve. This behavior applies to children and adults. It is my desire that this picture book will be used as a tool for adults to teach their children and themselves to coming to terms with that loss.
