
Differences in Dimensions of Career Motivation Between International and Domestic Graduate Students by Age and Gender
Foreign-born worker participation in the U.S. labor market is on the increase. Career motivation
research has historically been monocultural. A cross-cultural study involving over 8,000 possible survey respondents was conducted. Multivariate Multiple Regression analysis was used to determine the significance, direction, and
magnitude of the relationships between place of birth, age, and gender to London’s career motivation
dimensions.
