Why'd Daddy Go to Afghanistan (paperback)

I wrote this book for my wife to read to my two young sons at bed time while I am deployed to Afghanistan with the Massachusetts Army National Guard. This is a light hearted explanation to my children for why I have left them for a year. If you read this to your children, I hope it also helps you and I hope you're handling the deployment as well as possible. I understand it's not easy.
