At first Luke thought it was cancer. The lump on his neck had been growing for close to a week and it showed no signs of stopping. But upon further examination, the tumor is found to be a womb with a fertilized embryo growing inside it.

Suddenly Luke is hurtled on a slippery slope to insanity, the baby on his neck driving a wedge between himself and everything that he holds dear. But just as the world has him beaten, Luke formulates a plan for revenge.

Cancer is one of those stories that defies classification. It has elements of science fiction, horror, drama, and suspense, but ultimately it is none of these. It is a character driven piece about a man driven to the brink, so crushed by the world around him that vengeance seems his only
way out.

But the heart of Cancer is by all means Luke, a character struggling to deal with the challenge of everyday life and the burdens of being the first man ever to carry a child.
