At first Luke thought it was cancer. The lump on his neck had been growing for close to a week and it showed no signs of stopping. But upon further examination, the tumor is found to be a womb with a fertilized embryo growing inside it. <br><br> Suddenly Luke is hurtled on a slippery slope to insanity, the baby on his neck driving a wedge between himself and everything that he holds dear. But just as the world has him beaten, Luke formulates a plan for revenge. <br><br> Cancer is one of those stories that defies classification. It has elements of science fiction, horror, drama, and suspense, but ultimately it is none of these. It is a character driven piece about a man driven to the brink, so crushed by the world around him that vengeance seems his only way out. <br><br> But the heart of Cancer is by all means Luke, a character struggling to deal with the challenge of everyday life and the burdens of being the first man ever to carry a child.
