My Time on the USS Snook (SSN 592) 1967 - 1970

It's 1966 and the Vietnam war is escalating every day. I knew I would probably be drafted. The problem was, I always wanted to be in the Navy. Once I turned 18 I took care of the problem and enlisted in the Navy. I never thought I would be able to be in the submarine service. What I learned was better than what any school would have taught me. It was not easy a lot of the time but, these are some of the good times that I remember.
