Maddie

Author Tylia L. Flores of the Handi- capable series brings to you, a short story about a young 14-year-old Florida native who struggles with finding where she belongs because she’s not a typical teenager. Maddie was born with spastic dysplasia the most common form of Cerebral Palsy. While trying to find her way, she meets a young man by the name of Garrett Daniel Reed. A young man diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Garrett has a very a different view about everything in his life. He advocates for Cerebral Palsy survivors on a day-to-day basis and teaches Maddie lessons she’ll never forget.
