Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a wife and the mother of four beautiful children. I was born in Manhattan, NY and raised in the beautiful state of South Carolina. I enjoy spending countless hours with my children, of whom have given me the desire to write children's books.
In writing, I consider my children and the things that amuse them, the things that grasp their attention and the things that keep their little minds wondering who, what, when, where, why and how. As a child, I would always hear from my elders and teachers, "reading is fundamental". As an adult, I see its relevance, not only in its ability to enable kids to desire to read but also as a tool for them to excel socially.
The more they read the more words they learn, the more they desire to read and be read to and the more likely they are to succeed.
