This is a reprint of the book produced by NAS South Weymouth, Massachusetts in 1996 to commemorate the closing of the base. This profusely illustrated book presents the history of NAS South Weymouth and its predecessor, NAS Squantum, with text and hundreds of photos. All proceeds from the sale of this book go to the ANA Patriot Squadron, the Boston area chapter of the Association of Naval Aviation, which is dedicated to preserving the military history and heritage of Naval Air Station South Weymouth and its Quincy predecessor Naval Air Station Squantum.
