The Moralist

Jade Moss is the daughter of Hamilton High School's loyal principal. She works hard and is driven to attend Chowan University after her senior year. But for right now, she’s in the 11th grade and is on track to becoming valedictorian for the class of 2015. Getting there leads to Jade having to tutor “bad boy” senior; Carter Evans. Little does she know, he’s actually an emotionally intelligent guy with a scary past and walls that stand taller than the clouds. He helps her realize that the world is more than black and white, she doesn’t have to do everything the way her parents want her to. And with that, she stumbles down a rabbit hole of teen angst, self-exploration, heartbreak, and secrets, causing her parents to disown her. But this is precisely what she was afraid of, she didn't want to end up like her sister Now she has to choose; her happiness or theirs.
