Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Monumental & Multicultural Cemeteries

The volume collects the study contributions presented in the periodic international conference on the theme of cemetery spaces organized by CICOP Italia Onlus, held in Turin and Florence in April 2019 and sponsored by the highest authorities in the sector at national and international level. The needs to draw up innovative tools to support decision-making in the process of Knowledge, Restoration and Restyling of monumental cemetery structures are widely discussed, including the re-educational action and the involvement of the population in the knowledge of "social values" in different cultures and religions. The Proceedings of the MMC3 Congress represent a great stimulus for research and reflection on planning activities capable of qualifying and controlling the project of knowledge and recovery of cemetery spaces in the various stages of programming, design, implementation, management and use. The collected contributions are written in English (7), Italian (13) and French (1).
