Vera (Miller) Elliott, the youngest of six children born to Ben and Emma Miller, grew up near the community of Brancepeth, Saskatchewan. She was an adventurous child and, with her sister Shirley who was eleven months older, she tried out all her world had to offer. In The “Good Old Days” she shares what life was like, first on her uncle’s farm and then living at a resort on a small lake.
Life as an adult was no less interesting…moving to the city, marrying, fighting polio, raising a family, keeping boarders, travelling. But through it all is woven her sense of humour and a deep abiding faith in her Saviour, Jesus Christ.
