A Northern Christmas: the vbouldering writings.

A compilation of the satirical columns written for Vbouldering magazine between 2001 and 2004, in addition to never-before-published expedition summaries, columns, and a short adventure story from the period. The writing focuses on various themes in the bouldering culture: relations to everyday life and relationships, self-fashioning, fame, concentration, primitivity, travel, group dynamics, the relation of Nature to Culture, commodification of the athlete, and numerous other topics in a playful, satirical, and absurdist fashion.
