The 2007-2008 Policy Debate Affirmative HandBook

The affirmative case book includes 5 different affirmatives, each central to this year's debate topic. The water and AIDS affirmatives both take a main stream approach to two of the most significant problems currently facing Sub-Saharan Africa. The refugees affirmative incorporates public health assistance to tackle the refugee crisis which has become arguably the most serious consequence of the chaos and violence in Sudan. Finally, the disease surveillance and immunization affs focus on two distinct mechanisms to tackle the enormous threat of emerging and chronic diseases that devlop and thrive on the continent.
