A Hummingbird Named Grace

This story was inspired by a true event. There really was a hummingbird that I named Grace. The reason I named her Grace was that she was in my care for 12 hours and I felt that I had to give her a name. She was so gentle and sweet, that the name Grace seemed to be a good fit. I have successfully helped 3 hummingbirds go back into the wild. Our backyard (in the Sonoran Desert) is a haven for these active, fearless, territorial little birds. We never tire of watching their antics.
