The Prophecy is a musical setting of original text bounded on each end by brief quotations from
the Old Testament (the prophecy as foretold by Isaiah) and the New Testament (the fulfillment of
the prophecy as related by John). The text from Isaiah is to be sung in Hebrew (in transliterated
form); the text from John is to be sung in Greek. Some minor alterations of the spoken word
have been made to accommodate the musical setting. Performance time: Approximately 3 minutes.
