37th WEGEMT Summer School on Advanced Shipbuilding and Shipping - Competitive Ship Production

This publication represents a series of lecturers' papers, which were presented at a five day event entitled Advanced Shipbuilding and Shipping - Competitive Ship Production. The event was hosted by ETSIN, Madrid, from 11th to 15th November 2002. This WEGEMT Summer School is unique in that it is bringing shipbuilding, shipping, ship design and production all together. It should therefore be of significant help to the graduate student by providing them with a holistic view of the marine transportation business rather than a narrowly focused single topic.
