This publication compiles the lecture notes from the WEGEMT Course on Profitable Use of Information Technology in the Design of Ships and Oil Platforms. The Course was took place in Copenhagen, in 1993. Some of the topics covered include: Recent CAD Developments in a Research Environment; CAD/CAE/CAM in the Ship and Offshore Industries; Information Logistics; and CALS and Concurrent Engineering.
