This is a journal to log your yoga practice. Yoga has many forms: the yoga postures or poses, breath work, relaxation, meditation, and also often includes self-study and a commitment to practice. Journaling can support your self-study as well as your commitment to practice. This journal has 100 pages for practice entries with mostly blank space for your own, open-ended jotting down of reflections, but includes a page with suggestions and journal prompts (e.g., What style of class did I practice? Was my practice formal or informal? What were my thoughts and feelings before and after practice (remember: just notice; no judgment!)? What are my goals for my next practice?) and on each blank page spaces for date, type of practice, and location. A portion of each purchase of this journal goes directly to Yogis in Service, a non-profit in Buffalo, NY, whose mission is to create connection by creating access to yoga and mindfulness as a set of self-care tools through community-based classes in schools, hospitals, universities, community centers, and treatment centers, primarily by providing yoga, for free, to the community.
