Sir Aig Goes to New Spain

Sir Aignatius is a dragonyte who has lived over 16 centuries and experienced many things that were similar to the historical events that took place in our own world. After the death of his tenth wife, Aig broadens his horizons through the internet, learns how to speak modern English, and eventually meets a woman he had run into briefly in Europe when she was a child. Through her influence, he moves to New Spain, now known as California, to be closer to her. He also meets her friends, and family-- one of them is Helga's teen son George who teaches Aig to skateboard-- and eventually the rest of the world learns about him through the work of a friendly and ambitious journalist named Rita. Rita talks Aig into seeing a hypnotherapist where Aig learns a way to remember his distant past-- the time before he appeared on earth.
