Late Check-Out: Images From The Ambassador Hotel's Final Two Years

Once the most luxurious resort in Southern California, the Ambassador Hotel was demolished in 2006 after being closed to the public for seventeen years. This is a selection of more than 90 color and B&W images taken between 2003 & 2005 by Los Angeles photographer Whit Wagner including photos from the "Final Public Tour" that ended hours before initial demolition began in March 2005.
