It comprised 259 eight-line verses, and was written around 1375 A.D., slightly earlier than the Ordinalia. As the bard Talek Hooper said, it is “a Cornish treasure and equivalent to good poetry in any language.” Indeed the Cornish is excellent and should appeal to fluent students of the language.
