Mr. Diamond's excellent book for Learning the Latin of the Church was developed primarily from a correspondence course he taught to more than 400 individuals in the United States and 15 foreign countries.  The diversity of this group is astounding- "...used in over 50 high schools ...Carmelite Nuns, seminarians, Marist Brothers, doctors, housewives, and other lay people...". This book was designed to be used by the average person, and the vocabulary is taken directly from the liturgy, not from "Caesar or Cicero" as the forward to the book so proudly states.
