Something of The Story of Deep River

This book provides a description of the Deep River area of Guilford and Forsyth Counties in North Carolina. It includes a series of sketches about the aspects of life and conditions in Deep River from the time the first English, Scotch-Irish and Welsh families arrived in the 1750's up to the 1950's. It mainly stresses the period between the Civil War (1865) to the Second World War (1945).
