The protagonist , a young educated Afro-Caribbean woman comes from Jamaica to the U.K. to study. Away from home and family she is seduced by the Black Witch of Endine. Being a Christian however, she untangles herself from the witch's spell. Love and faith triumph in this semi-autobiography of tale of good versus evil.
