The new city has the government buildings, the universities, modern stores. The Old City has well-commemorated the scenes of dozens if not hundreds of events from the Old and New Testament, culminating with the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Tomb of Mary and the Church and Garden of Gethsemane. Then, a trip to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity.
