Our Little Black Book

Our stories and journeys have been reduced to hysterics, delusions, and old wives tales… diminished for the sake of keeping the idealized versions of ourselves the world created and try to keep forcing. We will NOT continue to have our tales twisted. Let the ink scream out truth and expose what we’ve been told to quell. We are stronger than we are perceived. A lions roar is a warning for those near it. Let these poems roar your warning and truth. Each poem recounts what our lives are truly like. What we endure… and sadly are forced to overcome. These are my experiences in this world…If you find yourself in these poems…or someone you know, hold them close…. Revel in our unity, and the fact that we will stay silent never more with Our Little Black Book.
