The Not Entirely Physical Embodiment of Slightly Malicious Mischief

What on earth is going on… How did it get here? Humans aren’t supposed to know about this place. I’m gonna be in so much trouble if anyone finds out about this. The human looks directly into my eyes, cueing a sharp pain throughout my body. I fall to the ground before the human, screaming silently in pain. Pain. Why pain? Why is it that stupid creature caused me pain? I have been in contact with humans before, made eye contact without so much as a feeling. So why would this one human cause me such excruciating pain?
