The Strange Disappearance of Guru Schwartz

Jackie Spratt is an out-of-work reporter in need of a holiday. Her much-needed Florida vacation turns into a white-knuckle adventure, however, when her mother decides to realize her dream of being a private detective. The quest for a missing Guru starts as a lark in Gulf coast bars, but the trail quickly pulls Jackie and her mom into a world of voodoo, exotic drugs and a diabolical scheme to strip lonely retirees of their assets.
