The Fantastic Inner Life of An American Teenager

This is the actual diary of a young girl with overactive imagination. It also relates how unable to cope with her maladjustment in her family life, she ends up in a mental hospital. It raises serious questions about our lack of efficieny and wisdom in dealing with the difficult manifestations of unusual behaviors from teenagers who are actually blessed with the gift of superior intelligence and most often end up as disabled adults in the mental health system.
