Yewande Okunoren-Oyekenu is a neuroscience researcher interested in healthcare law, innovations, trauma, neonatal brain repair, anesthesia, and pain management. As Wendy Noren`s CEO & Principal Investigator, she bridges the gap between medical research and industry to ensure the rapid translation of research results to benefit societal needs. She serves as a Board Member for Pray Motion and Advisory Board Member at Zschool, both in the USA. Yewande encourages ages 9-18 to engage in STEM careers. She was awarded a prize from the British Pharmacological Society for the best education poster presented in Scotland at Pharmacology 2019, which has inspired her to make the subject anesthetic pharmacology easy to understand. She is an Affiliate Member of the British Pharmacological Society, Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Regular Member of the Society for Neuroscience, e.t.c. She served in the Royal Voluntary Service, UK as an NHS COVID-19 Volunteer Responder during the pandemic.
