Yewande Okunoren-Oyekenu is a neuroscience researcher interested in healthcare law, innovations, trauma, neonatal brain repair, anesthesia, and pain management. She has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, and an M.Sc. in Pharmacology and Therapeutics with a specialization in Pharmacokinetics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her Doctorate career started at the University of Leicester, UK, where she studied Cell Physiology and Pharmacology with a Neuroscience specialization before transferring to California Intercontinental University for a Doctorate of Business Administration in Healthcare Management and Leadership. As Wendy Noren`s CEO and Principal Investigator, she bridges the gap between medical research and industry to ensure the rapid translation of research results to benefit societal needs. She serves as a Board Member for Pray Motion and Advisory Board Member at Zschool, both in the USA. Yewande encourages ages 9-18 to engage in STEM careers. She was awarded a prize from the British Pharmacological Society for the best education poster presented in Scotland at Pharmacology 2019, which has inspired her to make the subject anesthetic pharmacology easy to understand.
