On August 5, 1966, the principal of the Beijing Normal University (BNU) Girls School was beaten to deaths by her students. Four decades later, the witnesses of the incident reflected on the violent scene, and tried to search for the reason of violence through the education by the school, i.e., an education of class struggle planting hatred and classifying people into ordered strata.
