Adopted in the late 1960’s, a black baby girl joining a white middle class family. Happy in my own skin with a fabulous family life. Now in my 40’s with my own biological child asking questions about our ‘shared heritage’. I felt it high time to lift the lid off the most amazing roller coaster journey of my life as an adoptee. I want to draw you into my world so you can hold my hand as I show you the road I travelled. Sharing my story with you is a legacy to leave for my children.
