After 15 years as a science writer and editor for publications including The Chinook Observer, The Christian Science Monitor and Tidepool.org, I became a EMT and and Emergency Room Nurse. Now I work the front lines of Emergency Medicine at a busy hospital. I also have a degree in experimental psychology from Washington State Univeristy ('91).
