Andrew McGuigan is a fan of H.P. Lovecraft and In 2009 he created the 'Cumbrian Cthulhu' website to invite amateur writers to submit short horror stories along this theme. He was joined shortly after by Andy Paciorek, who became the official illustrator of Cumbrian Cthulhu. In November 2012 the writers and artists of the Cumbrian Cthulhu project proudly announced the release of the first two collected volumes of illustrated stories. All profits from Cumbrian Cthulhu will be donated to The Lake District Search And Mountain Rescue Association.
