Daniel was born and raised in Lewiston, Maine. At the age of 18 he joined the US Army and was stationed at Ft. Ord, California. Upon receiving an honorable discharge, he returned to Maine. Five years later, he decided he needed another adventure and moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he lived for the next 18 years. Daniel watched metro Phoenix grow from 1 million people to over 8 million people during those 18 years. After a six year hiatus in Sweeny, Tx, Daniel headed back home to Phoenix. Daniel had always enjoyed writing, whether it was a creative writing assignment in high school or college, a marketing letter, or any other form of writing. He loved words and loved to make them flow.
