DARLENE's art and design are informed by the principles of sacred geometry, correct proportion, and the classic canons of Beauty. Being the first woman artist for Dungeons & Dragons, she also adds the flair of fantasy and romance that excites the imagination and stirs wonder. As a book designer, illustrator, type designer, and writer, DARLENE loves to pull all these different artistic disciplines into a single work. DARLENE believes the power of Beauty communicates on a very deep level and uses nuance to create pleasing aesthetics for all her projects—including those for Aethyrea Books, the publishing venture she created with her late husband, Vincent Bridges, as well as publishing "Dancing The Enneagram" PlayBook with Kate Finlayson.
