A lifelong Hoosier, Dee Armstrong Crabtree was born in Columbus, Indiana in 1956 and currently resides in Zionsville. She studied journalism at Saint Mary of the Woods College and has been widely published since 1991. In addition to Promise Road, Ms. Crabtree has written feature articles for several small publications and is also the author of four non-fiction books on organizing.
