About
Edward Green
When I first moved to the city, the first few places I lived in were studio apartments just for myself. I had grown up an only child in northern NJ, so I figured this would be no problem. I was finishing up my last semester of college; I’d broken up with my long-time first girlfriend and was experiencing life as an adult on my own for the first time. Getting my own place seemed like the way to go. But over the years, after several apartment moves, and eventually switching things up and moving in with roommates, the conclusion that I came to realize could be summed up in the three words of this title……isolation is overrated. I liked having people around when I went home. Not to be all over each other, but having company AND saving money are two good things. But what about the problems? I eventually began formulating a list of ways to prevent miscommunications and the like from coming up again. That list grew into this book.
