Victor Stabin is inspiring children to read the dictionary, learn new words and draw! Victor Stabin is a thought leader in arts integration, artist, painter, and author. For almost three years, wherever he went, he brought a dictionary along for the ride. By culling through more than 8,000 pages of multiple dictionaries, he discovered the words from which he would create Daedal Doodle. Reading “ABC” books to his young daughters, his love of words, and an inability to curb his incessant doodling inspired Victor’s improbable alliterative combinations and the illustrations that form the heart of his book. Daedal Doodle is now used as the basis for a teaching curriculum he has developed and taught at numerous schools with a focus on Arts Integration. He is happy to make school or library visits or appearances at conferences and conventions to discuss his work as an "Accidental Thought Leader in Arts Integration".
