About
Mark Antony Clarke

Mark Antony is a modern British writer of traditional poetry and song. He describes himself in one of his poems as a "left-handed thinker, in a right handed world". He takes his inspiration from a wide range of influences, whether it be his own life, that of other people's, or films, dramas and magazine articles. He often has little control over what he writes about. Whatever fires up his muse will likely wake him during the early hours of the morning and if it intrigues or nags him enough, he has to get up and write there and then. He keeps a careful date and time for the 'birth' of all of his work. His book Poet Tree Seasons is a thought provoking compilation of his most recent works drawn together into 'seasonal' moods.
