ZUM SEHEN means «to see», it is the title of a work conceived and carried out in Berlin in 1989. The exhibition took place in the ¨Kunst Büro¨, a gallery that underwent a change in management, thus creating a really independent atmosphere durihg the exhibition. Despite all, the exhibition was a succes and with hindsight I still consider it a determinating factor in my work, and it is because of that experience that I now publish this catalogue. Zum Sehen, like just about everything , is the result of a series of factors and feelings. Now, in January of 2015 I want to present the most vital and important of these feelings. The first time I travelled to Berlin, (with a Goethe Institut grant) I was looking for the centre of European culture as I had just returned from the United States.
