Elizabeth D. Davis is a journalist turned teacher and therapist who enjoys finding ways to make learning English fun and easy. After earning a B.S. in Journalism and spending five years as a staff writer for a local news organization, Elizabeth became a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), an instructor of therapists (CALT-QI) and practitioners (ICALP), a Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist (C-SLDS), and a teacher certified in early childhood, elementary, and secondary education. She also earned an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Elizabeth has worked with students ranging in age from four years to adult in public school, private school, homeschool, and private practice settings. She is currently teaching at an inner-city school where most students are learning English as a second language.
