Joe Marshall is a unique, award-winning playwright, with more than 12 plays to his credit. His smash Off-Broadway hit The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever! thrilled sold-out New York City audiences in its 2009 premier at The Actors’ Playhouse. A Night in Vegas (AriZoni awards in 2000 for Best Original Script and Best Overall Production) made its Off-Broadway debut in July 2010 at The Bleecker Street Theatre in NYC. His latest play A Waning Gibbous Moon made its worldwide premiere December 2019 at The Players’ Theatre in NYC. Joe is the Founder and Artistic Director for Alternative Theatre Company (founded in 1991), and is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Young Adult theatre group at the South Huntington Public Library, in South Huntington, Long Island, where he lives with Adrian, his husband of 15 years.
