Arthur Broadhurst
Arthur G Broadhurst is a graduate of the University of Richmond (ancient history and religion) and has graduate degrees (theology, philosophy of religion) from Colgate Rochester Divinity School and the University of Rochester. He has been minister of several Unitarian Universalist churches, mostly on a part-time basis. Most of his career was in education and education-related organizations. He retired in 2001 as President and Chief Executive Officer of School, College and University Underwriters, Ltd., an insurance and reinsurance company owned by major colleges and universities. In retirement he pursues his interests in writing about family history, religion, politics and social ethics; serving as editor of The Christian Humanist, an internet periodical; and playing tennis. He lives with his wife Sue Hamilton Broadhurst in Vero Beach, Florida.
