I am a poet, writer, artist and fat bloke who lives with a black cat on the Isle of Sheppey in the UK. I was once a fitter & turner working in UK and then in New Zealand and Australia. Receiving an injury that stopped my hammer and spanner career I took up writing, local radio and to evade the dole queue I attended Auckland University in 1995 as an extremely mature student (over-ripe) gaining a MA studying English Literature. Returning to the UK in 2000 I took on a part time career as a Teaching Assistant at a local school until, having gone well past my use-by date, I am now a well educated fat bloke of leisure. I am very fond of cats.
