I am a native of Chicago, currently residing in Iowa City, Iowa, the Writer's capitol of the nation; and, I hold a BLS in Writing from The University of Iowa. After being a mom, I believe I am most passionate about encouraging others to make a better present and future for themselves. As a result, I have found that God has given me a great deal of creativity in using my listening, writing, coaching, and speaking skills to satisfy that passion through writing, and help others do the same through the profession of publishing. After eight years of writing and self-publishing, I opened Sky Blue Daisies Publishers Enterprises, Inc., a boutique publishing firm, in 2013. In addition to specializing in publishing first-time authors, we offer writing courses for those who want to begin the journey to telling their own story.
