About
Books by David Ware

Born in England to a WWII "war bride" David Ware was later brought to the U.S. and grew up in Haynesville, Louisiana. At 14, he moved to Homer, Louisiana where he became a star football player. After graduation, he enlisted in the Air Force and served in a Special Forces unit near the airfield at Bien Hoa, Vietnam. David finished his first novel "Breath of a Tigress" in 2021. It's about a special forces Green Beret, Tom Wade, who goes to Vietnam and is given supernatural powers by a female jungle tiger that he uses to keep him and his buddies alive. David now lives with his wife Sandy in Dawsonville, Georgia and is in the process of completing his second Vietnam war-era novel called "Push." The main character, Raylan Dansby, is a highly decorated and wounded Army Ranger leading a long-range reconnaissance patrol (LRRP) in Vietnam. When you read David's writing, it's easy to become immersed. Why? It's because he pens reality. He was once there - in the jungle - hunting the enemy and having them hunt him. His first-hand experience in war comes through his writing.
